The Real Steel Bushcraft should be excluded and banned. I've got it and it's the worst knife I have in my collection of over 100 knives. The steel is not even close to D2: it is soft and rusts. But the worst is customer service: the manufacturer would not hold their warranty if you don't buy direct from them. So, it's going to be a total loser if purchased from massdrop. Just want to let everybody know.
I was surprised nobody had added Mora to the list! If you search knife forums, you will find that they are pretty much the undisputed king of budget bushcraft knives, and with good reason. I own their Heavy Duty Companion in carbon steel, and it is an amazing knife, especially for the price! The first time I used it was on a seasoned hickory log, and after carving for about 2 hours straight the factory edge was just shy of being hair-shaving sharp! All of their Companion series come in carbon or Sandvik stainless steel, so if you don’t want to worry about rust, they’ve got you covered. If you want the extra edge retention carbon steel gives you, just put a light coat of oil (I used vegetable oil) on the blade before leaving it unused for any length of time. I know I sound like a Mora salesman; but I’m not. I am just one very satisfied customer!
Have a very bad experience with Real Steel Bushcraft knife purchased on Amazon this summer: poorly treated steel, not even close to what you expect from D2: edges roll over and chip on very simple tasks; blade rusted inside slightly dumped from condensation sheath; sheath does not hold the knife securely after a few weeks: simple shake and the knife falls out. Strongly do not recommend.

I have seen some reports on that knife when I was looking at it that swayed me from ordering it. I have a couple of knives I absolutely love for bushcraft/survival, one is the EESE Laser Strike (awesome knife) and the other I recently purchased was the Terävä Jääkäripuukko 110 in carbon steel. Do yourself a favor and look at some of the YouTube videos on this knife. The sheath is purchased separately and it is one of the nicest leather sheaths w/ dangler I have seen, especially for around $30. I ordered mine from Finland and it was at my home in Florida in 3 days. The knife itself is not something you would display, but rather beat the crapola out of and it just keeps going. I have several other knives (Swamp Rat RMD, ESEE 3, 6 and LS, Fallkniven F1, A1, etc.) and this knife absolutely beats them all in price vs performance. They also make it in the 140 mm (5.5 in) if you want a longer blade. My next purchase will be their Terävä Skrama. Ugly as sin, but it is a serious chopper with a 9.5" blade.
