My thoughts on DAPs today, they must support Android so you can get Tidal or the streaming app of your choice. Tidal is perfect, CD or better quality (only game in town currently for MQA, thinking of the future!). The fact that you can save your Tidal music for offline use up to the limits of your device memory just made your oldster iTunes or other CD quality or lower library a very nice backup system, but no longer really necessary. And if you have another device that just stores locally, you are so much more limited.
