Avoid the XPS 15 like the plauge. Dell does not care about their flagship and my company has had nothing but trouble with the last 3 versions 9560-9570. They get progressivly worse with each bios update. My personal 9570 currently get less that 4 hours of battery under even light tasks because dell has fusked with the C states and it can never reach c3 to idle. You acutally need to UNDER clock the processor to get it to perform well in games because it voltage throttles.
Obviously it depends on what you're using the laptop for, but I can't recommend System76 highly enough. Don't be an Apple AirHead® free yourself and go with the fastest operating system. Apple hardware you're going to overpay by 3x for the same hardware and anything running Windows is a data-mining P.O.S.

Surface products are known to break incredibly fast without a way to repair them. I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone
