Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). It’s a concise and comprehensive overview with links to some great sites that go deeper. He also has a separate Links about keyboards page. it appears you guys are basing your compliments on outdated information from my old project page. I'm sorry to break it to you but ever since the decision has been made to use tertiary legends with a NorDe only kit the support for Spanish was dropped as it would have added another 8 or so keys to the kit. Also according to Zambumon, only like 2 people beside himself bought the Amazing Chocolatier from Spain, out of almost 50 or so.
I'm very sorry guys :/
With the spanish keysets we always have the same problem, low diffusion so every time we find it late.
Spanish layout support is almost non-existent in the world of custom keysets.
I think that the last option will be to make an spanish keyset and promote it on all the spanish communities around the world, hoping to get the enough interested people to make a custom drop. Anyways nothing that can be done soon.
