Certina is not vaguely a microbrand
Boldr watches have a great record of durability and aesthetic appeal. Glad to see one here.
The Traska Free Diver is a 40mm, 100M dive watch with a 24 jeweled NH38 movement, AR double domed sapphire crystal, 316 ss case, and super luminova. Wonderful watch!
Deep Blue are a great value. Love mine. Sometimes code DEEPBLUE will get you 40% off but they don't advertise that.
Certina as a microbrand? I think not!
Tisell is a Korean brand that’s doing some neat things, and I believe their divers use a high beat Miyota movement. Sub-$300.
I have the Vanatu II - unbelievable value if you can buy one from the manufacturer. Second hand they maintain their value, if they don't actually cost more since they're sold out right now. Wears and runs like its twice the cost. Glass takes a fingerprint a little too easily but I hear they fixed that on the Vanatu III. The engineers bracelet is stunning, super heavy duty, and matches the watch perfectly. It wears extremely comfortably and fits smaller than its lug to lug would suggest. Glows like the bikini atoll. I really wanted the Khuraburi but couldn't get my hands on one, but have heard similar comments about the quality. Helm owners love them. I've also been told the Dan Henry is an incredible value. I just love the dial of that grey scurfa. I'd try to buy any one of those three if they came up on massdrop.
didn't add Nodus? wow..........
Nodus watches start over $500 retail. And it doesn't matter what you paid.
I own the Scurfa, so had to vote for it. Have dove with it about 10 times thus far and it works as well underwater with great readability in low light conditions. The Miyota movement has been accurate and reliable.
So many more you could add to this list, I don't want to vote. It's so restricted
The Zelos has some nice Youtube reviews and a great look. SW200 movement, Sapphire crystal, serious depth. And yes, Certina is not really a microbrand as far as I understand them to be. They make respectable watches though.
