Well this poll is old now.
Having owned every MX mouse, just get the latest. The price isn't different from the MX Master (1), feel is exactly the same but insides are better (and way better battery). MX Performance will be an issue for certain people. I saw some people scratching the thumb rest. They are also perfectly capable of gaming.
Okay, fair enough. I have owned every not numbered MX mouse (MX Revolution -> Performance -> Master -> Master 2S)(also ignoring the gimmicky MX Air). From those, the 2S is the best of the bunch. But at a certain point, comfort will become personal preference and what you're used to. I haven't tried the MX1100 but the Master is amazing.

if you can find a MX1100 next to new on kijiji/craigslist for about 50 bucks you're doing pretty good.
new on ebay they sell for HUNDREDS cause they have a slightly better form factor then the master. only real downfall is the DPI is low (400-1600) and the wireless dongle is not the universal one logitech uses
