read my comment again, maybe you will understand it one day. But, let me explain, as apparently, you seem to be somehow ignorant. The vote was about gtx970 vs r9390. The 970 is a crippled version of 980 with some parts that core shut down/cut off.(gm204) But as you did not possess such elementary knowledge regarding the card, then I can't help it, just to wonder... why are you even speaking up, if you don't know shit about this? (you don't have to answer this, that is a rhetorical question) Have a nice and simple day, that won't challenge you mentally more, than you already are :)
The unfortunate fact is that it doesn't matter how great an AMD card is, developers will never optimize for them.

No, I meant to say "980", as the "crippled" part tried to imply 970, as they just turned off some communication bandwidth in the chip, which caused the great prize, but also the issue with the 0.5GB VRAM.

But frankly, I am looking forward to that weird hybrid SLi/Crossfire where you could utilize fortes of green and red with a shared memory pool, most of the benefits and almost none of the drawbacks. (Except, maybe, the fact that the developers have to prepare the game for it)
