Vargo Titanium Funnel Flask

Hi Everyone!
Thanks so much for your participating in this poll. We sourced a very high quality flask made by the artisan Jacob Bromwell. It's handmade, absolutely stunning, and one of those BIFL products everyone wants. We invite you to check it out and let us know what you think.
In regards to the flask that is currently on top, we sourced it from a vendor on Alibaba, it wasn't what we expected in terms of quality and didn't want to sell it to you guys because of quality reasons. I hope you understand. We plan on sourcing more flasks, the current ones on the list are least viable, if you can suggest more products, we will work hard to get them for the community.
Cheers!
Andy

So has this particular flask poll just been abandoned or is it just on a hiatus at the moment?
Hi Guys,
Just to give you an update on the flask pics I posted earlier in this thread. Currently our vendor contact is not offering the flask in that particular design, we are currently looking for alternatives and will update you shortly.
Thanks,
Andy
Hey Guys, we received the flask, it's stainless steel, let us know what you think!

looks good, I noticed on the Etsy site there are a variety of color options, would there be a choice for design available in the drop?
Any further updates? Very interested in this drop before the Christmas

Hey - yes. We've contacted the company that manufacturers the first choice in the poll and were able to get great pricing for the group. As of now, we have a sample unit on the way to Massdrop HQ so we can check it out, make sure its good quality, take pictures, and start the drop. Stay tuned for more updates.
Really? I've always found the metallic taste of a pewter tankard adds to certain bitters and ales - and detracts from others. With regards to spirits - I've never noticed a difference between flasks, be they old pewter, new pewter, stainless, glass or silver or whether they're holding whisky, gin, sambuca or rum. Mostly it's never in there for any length of time and the metal never touches my pallet, whereas the tankard invariably touches the tong and lips.
For what it's worth, the advantage of pewter is that it doesn't flavor your liquor, but stainless does. That's the value of pewter.
I'd rather have the lower weight, safety and cost of Stainless over Pewter.
