I added the new Trijicon MRO which appears to be designed to directly compete with the Aimpoint T/H Series of non-magnified optics. Seems more viable as a future option since the release date is supposed to have been September, but many retailers do not have them for sale yet.
The ACOG is really really good, but there are many different flavours. Here is a good starter thread for those wanting more info on some of the more popular flavours of Tijicon sight ... http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=654467
I love my Aimpoint Comp., but really like the Trijicon ACOG 4x32 Scope because it doesn't require batteries.

Right, i have the same one for my rifle and it uses tritium gas along with the fiber optic to present the dot, but the gas only has a life of 10 years and then its useless. I know, 10 years is a long time, but still. The Aimpoint power consumption is so small that you can leave it on for 3 years before you have to replace the battery.
Aimpoint has a fairly strict MAP policy and $761 is the bottom for the T-2 with the mount.
Not much discussion here. I own a Eotech weapon sight, not the one suggested here but I can say they are quick to Acquire targets and rugged. No magnification. Usually there are merchant limits on a lot of these items so it will be interesting to see if discounts can be had.
The Pro can be had for $360 fairly regularly. Not sure how much lower that price could go. The T2 is the newer one so discounts on it are not likely to be seen for a while. This is where Massdrop could really come into play.
