The new Logitech (proteus) has a brand new sensor which is already considred the best performing one in the world. no smoothing, no accel, no prediction and has a higher max tracking speed than most other available. however it's extremely heavy and has a lot of buttons and is not something one should use for FPS games. otherwise it's a solid choice.
FPS mouse should be Mionix Avior 7000 with what's considered a perfected old sensor. No smoothing, accel or prediction, etc. there's also SS Rival and Zowie FK/EC.
the rest are pure garbage due to a terrible sensor. oh well.
