Just to be clear, I have a Nomad 7 as well.
I have the Powermonkey and the Ravpower. Both are better than GoalZero. Both can charge an iPhone directly. The GoalZero cannot. The Powermonkey is nice because the battery is internal, but is not as rugged as it would seem. We dropped it and broke the case, though it still works. The Ravpower has been impressive so far, charging an iPad without issue! While it doesn't have an included battery pack, you can pick up a nice one from Amazon, have better performance than GoalZero, and come in at least 25% cheaper.
GoalZero did a good job of marketing solar power to the mainstream and creating a market, (and they do, or at least did, have amazing customer service) but others are producing better products. Read the Wirecutter article ignacy linked.
