Thank you all so much for your votes and comments. I've included four colors in the drop (three of which are exclusive to us), so everyone should have plenty to choose from.
We're still working out the details of this drop, but here are some quick answers to questions:
1. Don't know how many colors we'll choose, but I imagine it will be the brown 750 + 1 or 2 others. We'll need at least 8 pairs per color so that will be a factor as well.
2. We will have EE widths in most sizes.
3. Lead time: Given that the leather will be tanned specifically for this project (which is really cool IMO) and the fact that Italy basically closes its doors for the month of August, this drop will have a LONG lead time. Not sure exactly how long yet, but this drop won't be good for the anxious and impatient. I imagine they'll arrive in the peak of boot wearing season :)
More details will be available when the drop goes live, of course!
Kind of disappointed that the Stock is winning! are we going to be able to choose one colour choice when the time comes or will we at least get 2 or 3 leather choices?
Oh, and just so you know - don't bother adding styles to this poll, as I'll just have to delete them. We're sticking to these styles of Reverso for this drop!

Ron Rider is a bit of a legend in the footwear world – he’s a second-generation shoe merchant and knows the ins and outs of the industry, from the tanneries and factories where shoes are made to the stores and vendors that sell them. He’s been an active contributor on Styleforum since the early days of the site, and been a presence on many style blogs and websites for over many years.
Rider Boot Co. is the brainchild of Ron’s background and design aesthetic, and is known for offering a unique take on classic shoes to the market. His shoes often feature an American style and sensibility, but with a slightly streamlined, European shape.
I’m very excited to say that we will be partnering with Ron to bring his classic Dundalk boot to Massdrop, at a great price and with customization options that are not available anywhere else. Ron has given us the option to choose between several shades of his popular “Reverso” leather, and it’s up to you to decide what we move forward with.
The leather that we choose will be tanned specifically for these shoes, so this is a custom project in the truest form of the word. Vote for your favorites now and expect a drop for the Dundalk soon!
Do you have any information as to whether only one leather will be chosen? Given that the leather will have to be tanned after being chosen, what is time frame on these?
