Saves space for some headphones
It's useful for headphones with a metal band which is separate from a leather band (like the HE1000v2), or headphones with a certain notch shape (like the HD6XX), but I would not use this with headphones that have a padded headband (like the Focal Elex).

It works and holds headphones.
One arm is fixed in place and the other spins like crazy. Not sure if that is meant to happen? But I figured you'd be able to tighten to lock it when you have it in your desired position, which doesn't seem to be possible. Very clean and isn't bulky while still remaining sturdy.
