Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Sahar, I would recommend giving them at least a week and see how you feel about them then. When I first received mine, I compared them directly to a set of AKG K702 (rather bright). While the K7XX were warmer and had stronger bass, I too perceived muddiness and lack of detail in comparison to the K702. Then I stopped comparing the two side-by-side and just listened to the K7XX's for a while and it helped me to appreciate the difference in presentation and tone.
Again, I would recommend at least a week of evaluating them, on their own, to allow your brain to adapt to the difference in presentation.
So the horrendous dip at 3K goes away after burn in?
