A $400 board that you have to pay $810 for. And then the RGB effects aren't that great.
The board itself is fine, physically, but it is in no way, shape, or form worth $810 USD. The carrying case is cool, but nothing about it screams being worth that much money. The LED panel animations are nice, but the RGB lighting functionality is poor at best, and it doesn't even match up to the "Terminal" theme. Those photos posted of the horizontal lighting matched to green for all the keys? There's no way to actually get that effect. You can wait for the RGB breathing to cycle over to Green, but that's not a default effect. Individual type-lighting in green hardly works against the horizontal rain, and matching a theme for the per-key RGB to an LED panel animation is way, way harder to do than it's worth. The typing experience is fine, but the RGB is a disappointment that just lets down an otherwise-decent board. Unless or until they straighten out the mess that is the RGB lighting, it's just not worth the money.
Lxurious Keyboard - just wish the typing experience was better!
This keyboard is fantastic! The profile of the molding and smokey aesthetic are fun and entertaining, especially with the LED panel. The typing experience, however, in all configruations of foam is stiff. Perhaps the flex kit that angry miao provides could help. Still very much enjoy the keyboard, and if you're an enthusiast seeking something unique, this is definitely one to eye-up!
The is my first Cyberboard from AM, and I have to say that I am extremely impressed. My fiancé who cringes every time I buy a new keyboard couldn't help but express how beautiful this keyboard is. Yes it is expensive, yes it is a waste of money, and no I do not care. Sound is average, definitely not bad. Feel is somewhat stiff. Very happy with my decision.
