Standard vs Omni?

swiftawaitAs others have said: It depends on your environment. If it's noisy the standard is probably better, if it's quiet the omni could deliver better quality.

swiftawaitStandard is unidirectional, and thus is far better at cancelling noise. Like was already stated, it really does depend on your environment, but in my opinion the unidirectional is generally better unless you absolutely need the better sound quality. My experience with omnidirectional mics is a lot of white noise, keyboard chatter, etc.
