How could I make this go to XLR?
slothz1llaYou would need a 3.5mm to XLR converter. Please note that the mic requires 5v of PHANTOM power. Direct current will fry the mic and many XLR ports are providing direct power.

AntlionJoeSo if I use my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and put a 1/4 inch adapter on the modmic and plug in to one of the front xlr ports on the 2i4, which accepts both xlr or quarter inch/TRS jacks, would I be ok turning on the phantom power for the AntLion ModMic 4.0 or could I just leave Phantom power off? Hmm 5V get's supplied over most USB connections and I think Phantom power from most USB DAW's is usually 48V. Too much for sure. Hopefully I've answered my own question but I'd still like to hear your input please and thank you.
Neblin7Hey @Neblin7 Yeah most USBs pass through some power as it is, so I would keep that phantom switch very much in the off position. 48v WILL damage the mic, no question.
