Does anyone know how this quality compares to the Zalman Zm-Mic1 microphone? Obviously ModMic is better but does anyone who owns the Zalman describe the magnitude of difference?

GambiteerThe ZM-Mic1 is an omni-directional microphone. It is extremely weak and requires a powerful source in order to function well. This means that plugged into a laptop or even a desktop motherboard it will not be sensitive enough for most listeners, even if the amping in the OS sound settings is turned all the way up. It has absolutely no noise-cancelling features, so unless one is using it in a quiet room, other people will complain of distracting excess noise. The clip is extremely fragile and poorly-designed - It falls off easily and can easily break off after a short drop on the floor. This is from my personal experience with the ZM-Mic1.
