I wouldn't say they're the most unique keycaps out there but they pair really well with a lot of different keyboards and other themes.
It's not really black per se but more like black on dark grey (which I still like a lot). I use them as my daily driver caps and I'm very satisfied with them. also available at a fairly low price compared to some sets out there, but if they're ever available at a discount, I would def recommend the set!
As several reviewers have pointed out, this is a budget keycap set and they're certainly lacking in several areas. Fair enough — since they're budget keycaps, you expect caveats. My set, however, were not even functional.
Slightly warped keys prevented by stabilizers from evenly returning to their rested state, which essentially made keys remain depressed without any force.
To ensure it's not the stabilizers or switches, I've tested an assortment of functional options. Keys only remained depressed when using these specific keycaps, regardless of switch, stabilizer, or even keyboard.
Aesthetically, they're not bad, but expect a much more gray appearance if you do buy. (They are NOT black on black. Dark grey base with black lettering.) Also, they're quite scratchy, light, and slippery.
I tried returning them; however, Drop pushed back surprisingly hard. So I guess they'll collect dust in my closet instead.
These are a really good value however they were not for me. They were just a bit too slick for me and I felt like my fingers were sliding on the keycaps more than normal. Love the cheap colorway though.
These keycaps are pretty decent for the value. They are pretty stock standard cherry keycaps, matte finish for decent texture, and overall pretty satisfactory. The keycaps are closer to a slate gray than true black, so keep that in mind if you were looking for truly black keycaps
I had been looking for an all black keycap set and this one by far exceeded expectations. They feel and sound amazing, and are absolutely worth it for the price in my opinion.
