Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the Astrolux MH10 pumps out 1,000 lumens for close to 2 hours. Made with a CREE XPL-HI LED, it casts a beam nearly four football fields long, but it doesn’t require any shoulder pads while in action: Its IPX-8 waterproof, hard-anodized aluminum body can take abuse. And pair a tough exterior with a versatile interface (it’s infinitely adjustable between the 1-lumen and 1,000-lumen setting) and you’ve got a torch suitable for any outdoorsmen. When it’s time to charge, plug in the Micro USB cable—no battery removal necessary. Slip it in a pocket or pack, or attach it to your belt with the included holster.
