I think it's color temp...kinda like a t.v.. ...colder to warmer as it goes up.

SPYDIEFANnope buddy,the more high the Kelvin rating is,the more the light emitted is "cold".Nichia 219 are the way to go if you want best color renditions(neutral/warm).

zionxemCool...I wish they'd explained it before I ordered...that's kind of an oversight..to give you options, but no explanation of them...thanks for filling me in...I thougt it was kelvin...but no idea how it ran....I thought like a car heater red to blue, lefrt to right....lol

limesaltYeah, I guess...I'm a knife geek,,,but when I saw 1600 lumens in a keychain size package I was like wow....this is considered powerful for its size right? As you noted I'm not up on these things....or is this common now....cool thing category manager told me how to change it to the other one...as I'm new to massdrop also..
