ShawninoAlmost everything is different from the Rolex except that its a diver (case shape/braclet/dial face/hands/bezel text)... are all divers Rolex rip offs to you? Are all Chronographs rip offs of the Daytona? I'm not saying that this is a great watch, far from it. The press pictures couldn't even get the bezel to perfectly line up to the markers, but it's not a Rolex rip off either.

ShawninoI mean, it’s 5mm bigger and 3mm thicker than a sub or gmt, but I guess it’s comparable to a newer deepsea in thickness. With that said, it is possible to enjoy both a Rolex and a Seiko/microbrand/etc. I have a flat out gmt rip-off in the Parnis gmt below, and I’m also wearing my yachtmaster today.

WatchyoutalkingaboutHow do you like the Parnis? I've seriously been thinking about one of their "homages" - can't beat the price and they look good in photos.

oppylandI got mine for $85, which I think is a fair price. The Chinese movement is pretty accurate at +7spd. The GMT hand is fully adjustable, not just in one hour increments. There is no jumping hour hand for the regular hour hand though. Bezel is also 120 click unidirectional. Lume is the worst I’ve ever seen, and I own 2 invictas. It’s a good watch, but rough in terms of finishing and the touch points - winding the crown feels gritty instead of smooth, bezel action is solid but feels kinda cheap, things like that. Best bet is to order them direct off Ali Express and negotiate.

ED61The gmt? Never been polished. The yachtmaster I picked up pre-owner from tourneau,a Rolex authorized dealer, and they definitely did a full service and polishing. I’m pretty sure they also replaced the crystal, since it has the Rolex ghost logo in it, although I believe the yachtmaster was one of the first models to get it so it may be original. Also came with a 2 year warranty through Tourneau/Rolex.

RayFI did have to put some locktite in one of the bracelet screws, it was fairly loosely threaded.

WatchyoutalkingaboutFunny you mention that! After wearing mine for a week (while traveling) I opened my travel case and discovered the bracelet had separated from the clasp! Luckily the screw that somehow worked loose, was found lying in the bottom of the case and was easily screwed back to from whence it came. Locktite sounds like the proper Rx!

RayFWow, lot's of hate on this one, LOL. I own one already in a 'batman' colorway. Jumped on one of these in the colors of our flag. It uses the exact same case as Deep Blue's Master 1000 diver (44mm), if you have familiarity with that one. Mine winds like butter, and the lume is strong throughout the whole night. Bezel action is among the best I've ever felt. Sorry to hear about the above bracelet experience. One of the reasons I prefer nato style straps, besides the comfort and lighter weight. Good luck to all on their watch acquisitions.....
