It's looking nice and funky under my two black monitors (I got the black one), and the white LED that lights up the tube is not distracting at all. The glow of the tube is very faint though, you can barely see two filaments glowing red.
Working well with my AKG Q701, average listening level is around 1/4 of the dial (comparable to 28 on +6db gain on the FIIO E17). Unfortunately, for my ears, it isn't too different to the E17. Maybe some tube rolling will change that :)
