In the end, they are not keycaps
Beautiful in the box. I was so proud to have them for several days! I put the noble metals over the arrow keys. They were a little loose, but heck, I'll take that. I sat for a few more days before I decided to change out all my F keys with the remainder of the caps. Some fit, some don't. Some stand tall and sloppy, others sink low and loose. I tried them with other switches to better avail in some cases, but I can't spend time matching switched to key caps on a keyboard that has them soldered in place. In the end, if they can't be used as keycaps, they are just so much pretty on the shelf and that isn't what I bought them for. I had read the comments warning me of this. Though I'd get lucky. I didn't.
Boxed switches do seem to help with getting these seated well if you decide to take the plunge and can change out your switches.
Both Coppers very loose.
Titanium very loose.
Aluminum (natural), Chrome, Magnesium, Iron fit very well.
The balance fit adequately, but seem a bit off.

Awekeys Element - Great Concept, Some Quality Control Issues
I noticed that there were some significant problems with my set and I wanted to see what support could do in the hopes that I will not have to completely return my set to Drop.
3 of the keys look like they are from a completely different batch. While most appear engraved, the AL, black AL and Mg keys all appear to be surface etched. And the regular AL seems to be degrading in some way that makes the legend significantly fuzzier than all the other keycaps. But perhaps the biggest issue is that these 3 keycaps will not fit on any switch I have tested them on. So I cannot use them with the other top row keys as I had planned. The tolerance seems slightly different enough that they simply will not fit on any switch.
Other than that there are some minor imperfections. The Bi key is noticeably taller than Zn and Fe.
I am not sure if these issues are related. Maybe I received an older batch and all the keys are lesser quality than later batches. I say that because several related issues were reported by others in various forums and Awekeys has officially responded that they know about the issues and have corrected them.
Do I need to return my entire set? Will a replacement be sent to me? If 3 out of my 16 keys are defective what am I to do with this set?
For the keys that are good, they look really good. I am also wishing that the keys for the arrow cluster were simply the same height as the others. Those include Au, Ag, Pt and Rh. They look great but the profile is different enough that you can't really use them alongside the others if you wanted to put them into a different layout.
I still have hope that this set can live up to the hype. Maybe I just got unlucky but we will see what they tell me.

Still Beautiful--I Never Get Tired of Looking at Them!
I love the heft and feel of these keys, and the look never gets old! The only downside for me is that the Rh, Ag, Pt, and Au profiles are for the lower rows of an alpha numeric keyboard, but I use the set on my macropad, so these keys are a little odd next to the other full height keys. Still, they are awesome!
