I wanted this until I realized it took AA batteries. Seems awfully cheap to not include a built in lipo.

ZacharyBinzThis is actually far better in my opinion. In a pinch you can just buy regular batteries available anywhere instead of lugging around cables and charger. If you desire rechargeable just get them. Also, there seems to be plenty of space inside of case for hacking it and adding USB charging capabilities.

Maybe it has a building rechargeable battery and also with AAx2 emergency battery function is a good solution.

davidwangIt would be pretty cool to see one with a rechargeable battery but honestly I didn't look into it enough to find out how much current the BT module/LEDS will draw. If it can get even 1 month of basic use from normal double AA's then the rechargeable battery ultimately doesn't matter.
