Hate to say it but I think this pack is a hard sell at that price. $200 for a small, frameless (albeit water resistant) panel loader? I'm sure it's practical but the features and weight are nothing special and the styling is pure meh. I'm not saying it's a bad pack but off the top of my head the Crux RK30 or Mag 22 or 28 represent better options for a waterproof, rugged, urban/outdoor crossover pack. That said, I would love to see some other Black Rock gear.
JoomyI agree that it's pricey, but sometimes it's just about the features being an exact match for the user. In comparison to the Mag 28, the Black Rock bag is one-third lighter, has a low profile front and internal pockets and the internal strapping system.
It's hard to assess Crux Mag 28 because they have one photo of the exterior and that's it.
Will it be worth the $$ for everyone? Nope. But I can't find another pack that comes as close to the features I'd like in an everyday backpack.
