This is a bad pair of items - the pieces do not screw into their caps and only because of some sort of adhesive do they stay seated - the adhesive “wears” out or goes thin and the pieces do not stay seated for storage - this is no secret Massdrop, only carelessness on your part and shame on you! - maybe more research the next (?) purchase from you .....

BrattemI doubt that the closure is an adhesive; it's probably a pressure-fit.
