EXACT color match for dark grey in Oblivion. Very useful.
I needed split spacebars for my Oblivion build that were in the dark grey. The Oblivion set has split spacebars in the lighter grey and white, but not in the one I wanted. Turns out that these split spacebars (color code GQM from Signature Plastics) perfectly match the dark. Here are the two sets together for reference. Oblivion shifts, Carbon split spacebars.
For reference, the lighter grey in Oblivion is color code GD.
I have a Keychron Q5 max keyboard and I was trying to go for a Titanfall themed keyboard and the closest I could get was a Half-life 2 theme which I dont mind. The SA profile of the keychron caps was so weird and I was hesitant to get this keyset since this was also SA profile but Drops return policy gave me confidence and I pulled the trigger. I am so glad I went for this set, the picture does do it justice they are of very high build quality and the orange color is so nice, if I had to change one thing about this keyset that is that I wish the beige color was a tad whiter to suit my Titanfall controller.
The only thing I might criticize is about the kitting. I needed to get the Xtra kit for a 65% with a blocker.. which is quite common. but I still had to get that whole separate kit.
These keycaps had the look that I was going for. I'm trying to make my keyboard look like a time machine that was built in the 50's and this is exactly that. I did opt for the Russian set which looks great but takes some getting used to if you like to look at your board when you type. In terms of the feel it is extremely high quality. As many others are saying I wish they came in trays instead of bags but its not a huge deal.
First set of custom keycaps. Awesome quality and typing experience, but disappointing packaging. A tray would've been nice so I can have the spare keycaps neatly organized.
