Just got mine, it's definitely a nice little knife. Fit and finish is good overall, action is smooth and snappy. Detent is a little on the weak side, can be whipped open, but it's strong enough for real solid opening.
Looks like I'll be able to adjust it to let the ball sit deeper, will know for sure once I open it up.
This is really an easy one to front flip, compared to only a couple others I've tried.
For G10 and D2, and it's size, i think it could've fit nicely in the $40-50 knife range.
I'm not mad at paying ~$61 elsewhere, but wouldn't have been very happy at $68 with a month wait *shrugs*
KavikWell, there's good news and bad news lol
Good news is i was able to tweak the detent so it no longer can shake open.....bad news is I didn't consider the fact that front flippers need to be a little weaker in the detent to flip easily lol
Can still get it with my thumb or the side of my index finger from the side (and opens with much more authority now), but reaching over top with the top of my index finger is now much harder. Whoops ππ€£π£
Gonna need more practice....and i think I'll also be wanting more front flippers now ππ
KavikI bought this tiny little thing - a twosun front flipper. I don't recommend it, but it was a real challenge to open and close. I'm good with it now. I had to modify the pass through for the frame lock (with a round file). I also had to modify the carry clip - it was bordering on unusable; now it's better but still limited to thinner material. Also can't put a lanyard on it - knives this small really need a lanyard. But it was cheap, now it's useful, and it was a good learning knife for front flipping and closing. I'm pretty sure I can front flip anything now.
KizerLol YES! That is one of the couple other front flippers I own. Talk about an awkward flip!!
But with a fair amount of practice, finally got it down good
