How do I enable the function key? I switched the sixth switch on but f11 is still not turning on backlight when I hold down the function with f11.

AllegedlyAlienatedSwitching dip 6 on enabled the menu button to work as function. F12 is the button to turn on the backlight though. F11 is to change the brightness. Maybe that's your problem..? :)
