Following up to say that after taking out the stabilization bars and some of the white pegs from keys like shift and enter and backspace... I actually kind of like this. I was using the Apple aluminum keyboard before this and it worked just great for the MBP and OS X. However, the feedback of the experience of using mechanical switches, plus the noise it makes... I guess it just feels more responsive! I've pretty much stopped paying attention to the pinging so it's not that big of a deal. I wish I had a way to stabilize the bigger keys without getting squeakiness or creakiness, but as long as I don't break the key by pushing on it at an angle, I think I'll be good.
I really like the backlight on this keyboard. It's simple, but effective. Most of my keys are lit evenly, even at the lowest brightness. I've got some of the MX LED covers coming so I'm ready to trick this puppy out. Gonna throw some red O-rings on too, I think. I can definitely say I'm actually pleased with this keyboard. The function media controls are perfect on OS X, though it'd be cool to get some custom Mac F# keys, so I didn't have to use the function key modifier to play/pause or skip around.
Does anyone get sore fingers after typing on this? Or are my fingers just weak from typing on a light scissor-key Apple keyboard? I don't think the pain is in my joints but.. more at my fingertips? I've been taking care not to bottom out too often. It just takes some getting used to.

yokkenI'm in the same boat, switched directly from an Apple Aluminum Keyboard to this. Haven't noticed any soreness though.

yokkenI appreciate your detailed posts. In your research have you identified a keyboard that has the simple look of the Code Keyboard without the issues? I've been looking for a keyboard like the Code and I like the looks of it, but I want something without issues.

ted.lasI believe he would be referring to the pinging noise that comes from some of the stabilizers. I have the TKL and I do notice a small pinging sometimes but I am not loosing any sleep over it - I still love the board.
