I know the designer and the publisher, CGE. I can say fairly confidently that this won't stay out of print long. CGE is very good about reprinting popular titles and they're doing their own distribution in the US now. There are copies still on the shelves in my local game store. I acquired my copy at GenCon. I can also verify it's an awesome game. Even if you generally don't like word games.
