Where do you even buy the NFB-15? Just based on a quick Google search, things may be a little sketchy regarding support, warranty, etc. It may be a great product, but their website is terrible. "Wisdom in mind, enthusiasm at heart." I dunno, I'd want to make sure that you didn't have to speak to someone with a huge language barrier if you had issues. I've no idea how it compares to the X7, but I feel way more comfortable with this drop. If you get one, let us know what you think. :)
iGrenade, your description of SBX reminds me very much of how TVs are often set up in stores for consumer comparison. They are very bright, ultra vivid, trying to show off their feathers via stunning image quality, etc...while at first this is visually pleasing to the eye, it would be tiring in a home setting where you'd want things toned down a bit for more natural viewing.
yeah that's pretty much what sbx is.
regarding the nfb-15: it's like mail order except through email. you contact them to get a quote of the unit + shipping cost. once they give you the total, you reply to confirm the order and pay through paypal or through bank account transfer. they recommend you to use paypal but you're responsible for the small fee paypal charges. paypal is very buyer-biased so i'm not worried, and audio-gd's reputation is good on reddit/head-fi.
support from what i've heard is also good. they have a rep at head-fi (kingwa) that is very active on the forums. the language barrier isn't really a big issue, it's mostly just their poor grasp with grammar/syntax. the only real issue is like i said any returns/warranty repairs will have to be shipped back to china. depending on the situation, they might comp the return shipping fee if you show them the bill. for more on their return/warranty policies: http://www.audio-gd.com/Warranty-EN.htm
