Many listeners of our HD 6XX headphones like to switch out earpads to adjust their fit and feel—the trick is preserving the sound signature. While many replacements add unwanted coloration, Dekoni’s Earpadz Series features a line specially engineered to match the sound signature of our best-selling headphones Read More
Yes. I personally really hate the sound of any Dekoni pad with the Sennheiser HD6x0 line. If you want to preserve the sound you're stuck ordering the stock Sennheiser pads.
dcha12Aftermarket POS, only good for bass heads. Stock Sennheiser pads only if one likes their Sennheisers sound as when they were new. All the aftermarket pads I heard change the sound to a degree - some less, some more. I don't think 6dB boost below 500Hz is not noticeable as the graph on Dekoni site shows, and they are already warm sounding headphones, unless these are something, which Dekoni doesn't sell to regular public.
These new pads, specifically the “Standard Velour” not the Elite Velour, were designed to imitate the stock pads and preserve the “standard” sound of the HD 600 series, including the HD 58X Jubilee.
The HD 580, HD 580 Jubilee, HD 600, HD 650, HD 6xx, HD 660S, and HD 58X Jubilee all use the same pads. Yes, these will work fine for your Drop HD 58X Jubilee, and were designed to mimic the stock sound too.
Yes it fits. If your original pads are pretty worn down, these will probably improve the lower frequencies significantly. At least that's what happened to mine.
Do these come with the plastic installation ring? I think I can see it in one of the photos but since it's not noted in the description, I just want to make sure.
