The ccase is heavy and high quality, the keycaps feel very nice, and I think the Gateron Yellows make this a great option for some who wants a keyboard that thocks right out of the box.
V2 gets everything right that could have been a problem the first go round. Starting with the stabilizers, they are so smooth you can't really tell they are there. The switches may just be the best that I have EVER typed on period. There is another brand(Momoka) that i like but they aren't touching the lubed version of the HPX. I really wish I could trade my V1 ALTs(2 of them) for V2s, but I know that's not really a thing. If anyone hesitates to buy this one, you're missing out. Hands down better than any version Drop has put out including the Sense75. Once they get that board right, then it may just be the Magnus Opus!
I have been wanting a mechanical keyboard that looks cool, sounds clacky and types smooth for a long time. Drop Alt V2 High-Profile meets all 3 requirements. I used it for work mainly and find excuses to type on it. I love the weight that makes it feel substantial. The colors are easily adjustable. Highly recommended!!
