Product Description
If you liked the Massdrop Brass AAA Flashlight, then you’ll love our latest version, now stronger, lighter, and decked out in icy blue. About the size of a tube of chapstick—and not much heavier at 1.2 ounces—it pumps out up to 110 lumens and casts a beam as far as 154 feet Read More
Yeah enjoy it while it lasts. Mine quit working in 2 months. 2 months of sitting on my table & being used when my dogs barked at something.
This product is garbage. Get a Fenix.
IronCrossI guess you got a lemon because mine has been working flawlessly for more than a year, and usually several times a day. I have one as a backup (that I still haven’t put in service), and have given a couple away as gifts.
ArgutusYep, it's something in the tail switch. Mine is locked in the off position like yours is on.
But don't worry, we just "happened" to get a lemon. Just like the Seiko watch I bought that just happened to have the date window in Arabic.
And the watchers will be here soon to rebut us & say how great the product is.
IronCrossThe Massdrop light is unreliable junk, but if you read the instructions for your Seiko watch you would know that you can easily change the days of the week to English when you set the time. (At least that's been my experience with Seiko and Citizen watches that have been bilingual with either French or (presumably) Arabic.)
ArgutusI have bought several of these (in the different finishes) and I've only had one that developed an issue. Massdrop replaced it free of charge when I contacted them. I had one of the copper ones where I broke the lense from something else in my pocket and they exchanged that light for free too.
You cannot buy a separate clip. Mine broke when I tried to change positions. I reached out to Drop and they stated they order a finite amount of product and nothing extra.
The instruction sheet had fallen out of the box when I unpacked it. Turns out you need to let the capacitor charge for a few minutes before the light will turn on. Hope my dumb discovery helps someone else :)
