I threw it on the KME. Put a mirror edge on it and have been stropping since then. Not a heavy user knife, so I haven't had to do anything after the first sharpening. Just stropping.
I use it with a Spyderco Sharpmaker and a strop.
getting consistent results with a strop should be fairly easy to do given how “straight” the edge is (not much need to manipulate the knife while going through the strop)
As I was happy with the grind I didn't convex it like I do with many knives. Instead, I kept a similar but maybe slightly flatter angle and brought it up to a high polish with DMT diamond steel plates then strops in successive compounds. With an almost flat belly, this is very easy to do. Honestly, that's just habit. Really, ceramic rods or the frosted top of your passenger car window, even the bottom edges of a ceramic saucer, will do just fine. This knife is an easy project with the last two suggestions easy to do by feel. Really.
Had this for about a year now, use it everyday at work. So many people ask to use it but it’s too nice of a knife to be passing around. Haven’t even needed to sharpen it. Though not as sharp as original it’s still razor sharp. Honestly the most pocket friendly and durable blade I’ve ever had, will never buy a new knife. Only thing I’ve had to do was unscrew the back to remove a bit of lint
Has anybody tried a pocket clip from another knife? Searching online these look like they may fit:

Does anybody have these knifes to try the clip on the dogtooth?
