Great action and a great blade shape for getting into packages and envelopes. Has held up great for the several years I've had mine, and I carried it daily for at least a couple of those. That being said my first one was the blue model and the finish rubbed off just from being in my pocket, so they were cool enough to replace it with the stonewash model which is what this review is reflecting.
Unfortunately, Drop decided to discontinue their knife program, but the Dogtooth is still a very well-made knife with a visually appealing handle and blade design. Flips well, lightweight, thin blade, appealing design; all the things that make a this a nice EDC knife
I love the light weight and shape of the blade (though could be hard to sharpen when I get to it). Very sharp out of the box and the overall style speaks to me. I know some don't like the cut outs on the handle, but I like it. Definitely don't feel it when in the pocket.
I love the lightweight nature of this knife given the holes in the titanium frame. Makes it easy to carry around all the time. I have been using this knife so much and it has held up to a lot of use. The mechanism still feels so smooth and tight months after I got it. It was well designed and very very well manufactured.
I like the size and its light weight, plus the stonewash finish and the blade shape which I prefer than my other knife with belly.
It arrived the the blade not centered. Tightened the screws which were a bit loose and it fixed the centering issue.
Definitely “five stars” for me.
Hard to open *at first, tough to pocket and remove...otherwise gorgeous and comfortable
The cutout for the framelock catches on fabric when you remove it, and the clip catches on fabric when you pocket it
Also, quite hard to open...hopefully it'll soften up over time. edit: it did, very smooth and easy after a week
Otherwise, great knife!
This is one bad@$$ little knife😎 Quite different from my Böker Plus FR and Pelican, which makes it all the more a great addition to the collection😁 Two things could've been better though: The original custom had the thinner grind towards the heel and a thicker grind towards the tip, which is how this should've been😖 The way WE Knife executed this makes for a very, very fragile tip (unlike the Böker BZ's) and so I wouldn't put this knife to any kind of hard use. The other thing is the clip: It's very nice, but again, Böker did a better job on the FR and even Civivi does a better job with 'countersinking' their clips into the scales. That said, this knife looks great, slices like crazy, the action is amazing and ofcourse the price is very nice. I'm loving it!
