Rather than posting multiple questions, you could, I don't know... read the product page. Crazy, I know but it works!

Why is MassDrop suddenly asking a million dumb questions to have everyone else answer them? Shouldn't Drop have the "answers", and not the "questions"? Looks really lame.

Depends on what you're using it for. If it's a work light I would buy with the brighter Cree lamp, but for my casual needs I prefer the warmer Nichia lamp.

Depends on what you need/want. The CREE LED is very white, and brighter. The NICHIA LED is more yellow (natural sunlight) and not as bright.

I had a similar issue, and contacted Lumintop directly. For a few dollars they sent me a dozen clips.

Mine is only showing one brightness and not switching to the other modes. Is there a reason for this or a way to fix it?

the electronic switch needs 30 minutes to charge up its capacitor, after that you will have all the modes.
