Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). It’s a concise and comprehensive overview with links to some great sites that go deeper. He also has a separate Links about keyboards page. The Keyboard layouts doc he recommends explains layout goals and metrics in detail, summarizing the alt layouts discussed here as well as more than one hundred others. Lo and behold the ctrl was redropped and I bought it and I'm glad to say I did. I've already swapped out some switches using the hot swappable PCB and its incredibly easy to do.
Unfortunately I will comment on the roughness of the keys itself are bit more than Im used to, but are perfectly fine in quality either way.
If you are looking to jump into mechanical keyboards, I'd recommend this board to anyone, the design is simple, nice and it feels like I purchased something that will last me a long time.
Im sure if I had any of those problems my review would be very different
