Is anyone else with the Kalih switches having some keys trigger more than once on a single keypress? For me it's W, E, and R.. any help with this would be appreciated. [Update: Jan 9, 2019] After using the provided tool in the CTRL packaging, I pulled all the Halo True switches and cleaned the device top to bottom using +90% isopropyl alcohol to clean the contacts on the switches. They worked just fine there after. That being said, I've since replaced them with Kailh BOX Jade switches from KBDFans, which have the updated stem to better accommodate the keycaps. They installed easily enough, but take a little more force than the Halo True switches to snap into the base plate. The PCB accepted them perfectly fine, and have been working since.

cwellshear91Try swapping the switches with switches that are not chattering - see if that solves the problem.

cwellshear91Yes, it's insane how bad this is, like there was no quality control at all. I reached out to support and was told that I can either return it for a full refund or get a $45 credit towards the next drop I join, which directly conflicts with the resolution options Massdrop is telling us that we'll get here in the comments.

cwellshear91The double trigger issue started for me in the last couple of weeks. (Halo True). It's very frustrating, because it was perfect before. I actually wonder if it's the actual board itself, because when double trigger occurs. All the hotkey functions also stops working.

YanboWuAfter resetting the switches using the key included in the keyboard box, cleaning the contacts in the switches, it appears to have fixed it. That being said, I still ordered some different switches. It's been a useful learning process to clean the chattering switches!

BowserUSCTry pulling the switches, sometimes the contacts get dirty in the PCB or on the switch itself.

Kyiu80Hard telling, but pulling my switches from the PCB and cleaning everything helped solve my input chatter.

cwellshear91What kind of cleaning process did you use? Just go over everything with a vacuum or something?

diji+90% isopropyl alcohol and a gentle brushing of their contacts using a melamine swab or block. Allow plenty of time to air dry, then a blast of air to remove any particles. If the switch is still being a problem, there's ways to "crack" them open, though there's usually a separate tool for that. I didn't need to go that far to get my HALO switches to work again.
