Warm Dolch
DCX is great, I’ve posted reviews of the profile on the WoB/BoW product page, so not much more to say on that subject. The Dolch colorway is great. The slightly warm grays offset with the Tiffany blue looks amazing. I love it!! The new DCX packaging is equally wonderful. The plastic sandwich trays keep everything in place and the overall size of the box is pleasantly slim, I was surprised they squeezed two trays in that slim of a box.

THEY UPDATED THE MOLDS FOR SHIFT!
Classic Dolch colorway, with an added bonus: DROP UPDATED THEIR MOLDS FOR THE SHIFT KEY! No more crazy space before the T (shown in picture description).

Great Color and Profile - Missing Child Kits
DCX profile is quite comfortable bearing a lot of familiarity with existing profiles on the market. The surface of the caps is on the smooth end compared to GMK, which is a matter of preference. The colors are a classic Dolch. I was worried this would be too similar to MODO2, but it is a fair bit darker. Kerning can be a bit odd on mods, but I find this with nearly every manufacturer on the market aside from GMK. It's would not be noticeable to most unless you really go looking. My only real gripe is that base kit compatibility is only okay. Anything that requires split spacebar will not be covered without using shift keys that you hopefully don't need as actual shift keys. There are no accent options beyond the cyan that is included. There are plenty of other missing items for the 40's and ergo crews of the hobby. Some macro columns could be nice in a child kit (M1-M10 vertical with row matching). With those options even as child kits, it'd be a 5 star for me. It's a 4 otherwise and something I'm willing to amend if said kits become options in the future.

Nice set and something that (finally!) fits the SHIFT.
I was about to begrudgingly spend about $200 to get an MT3 set that had all the "extras" I needed to fit my barebones SHIFT 1800 when I decided to check out this new DCX Dolch set. I was already sold on the classic grey aesthetic. To my surprise, all the special keys seemed like they would fit so I went ahead and ordered. Well, they arrived and it indeed fits! The only caveat of sorts is that you must use a right "super" key instead of the proper Fn key. That's no big deal in my book. I only use the Fn key when cycling through the RGB options. I don't see a need for layers with such a complete board. The bad? It's nothing I'd hold against the set itself, just my personal preference. I've come to realize that I REALLY like the ergonomics of typing on MT3. The MT3 profile is so much more rounded at the edges. It feels so comfortable, almost worn in. This set shares the sharper edges of other profiles, such as DROPs' own Skylight set. When I switch back to my Dasher set, it feels like butter. Getting on these caps feels quite angular in comparison. Let's talk north-facing interference. As the SHIFT is LED on top, north facing, I wanted to know once and for all if there would be switch interference. I'd read conflicting information about this. In this board, using Clickiez 40g switches, there IS interference in the shortest row, tested using a strip of regular old 20lb copy paper. For this build, it's not a big deal as a clicky switch dominates the sound profile anyway. I feel no difference in typing feel either. Just know that it's there if you are building something with a standard (non-raised) stem. My requests: Give us a 1.5u Fn R4 key! But more importantly, since all the DROP boards have RGB, PLEASE make a shine-through set with clear legends! I don't understand why it's such a unicorn. I no longer believe it's a "gamer" thing and nobody wants this. I want it! I'm not an RGB guy necessarily, I simply appreciate a nice white backlight when working in calm, subdued lightning. Closing thoughts: A pretty nice set that you don't have to wait for or pay an arm and a leg for. If OEM/Cherry profile is your thing, you can't go wrong.

Quality is very nice
I really like these DCX keycaps.. feel is extremely smooth and luxurious. They feel soft to the touch and give an amazing typing experience. I have only tried the GMK WoB, and personally feel these are better in both quality, texture and value (BOGO!). Legends are nice and crisp and it comes with everything you want in a base kit (no separately sold nonsense - included a nice teal esc, enter and arrow keys). I think Drop dropped the ball (pun intended!) by not putting just logos/shapes on the modifiers - just to be different from the rest. Being in stock is a bonus, I dont understand why anyone would want to wait 2+ years for a keycap set.

Colors are great
I personally love them. Clean. Simple. Classy looking. Nothing to popping on the desk, but just enough to draw your attention to the keyboard. Plus the profile is pretty much GMK cherry. Love these.

Good Quality
Surprised by the quality of these caps. Its nice that they added spacebar support for 40's and alice layouts. The only con for me is the text quality of the mods. Its not bad, but after using GMK for a while, its hard not to notice. They are a B+ at best in comparison to GMK. My advice to Drop would be to move all together to all icon modifiers for a cleaner look and less hassle on dealing with text quality. If you are looking for this colorway and are new to the hobby, these are not bad for the price, just go for it if you are on the fence. If you are coming from GMK, reduce your expectations a bit and you'll be happy, this is an in stock option that won't take 1.5 years to get to you.

Very Well Made
Looks great and feels fantastic. Should you want to avoid the nice Dolch keys, there are many options available, but why would you? Fit without issue on Kailh Hako Violets and Arctic Fox switches.

DCX Dolch Review
Overall a great keycap set! Price is a little steep for beginners but the quality, color, legending and sound are all great. I think that it's a set that's worth it, especially if you can catch it on discount.

No more Shif+t!!
The mold issues have been fixed, and I'm pleasantly surprised with the DCX profile! I will say that the accent teal is quite a bit more saturated than any other dolch set I've seen, but I don't really have a problem with it, I like the brighter colors! I would also love to see Drop add icon mod molds to the DCX lineup eventually, as certain colorways (dolch included) look much better with icon mods vs text (((imo))). Keycap thickness, feeling, sound are all very good for a sub-$100 pricepoint, and this is a great alternative to GMK and even other ABS brands like JTK and DMK, it also helps that they ship from nearby and arrive pretty quickly! I know people love to hate on Drop but DCX is one of the best things they've done in recent memory
