According to this YouTube video about the DCX profile by Youtuber Keybored that I just watched, yes, there will still be interference with north facing switches. (He's going to mention this at timestamp 12:38 of the video)
I recommend watching the video in its entirety because it does provide a lot of extra information about the DCX profile and I think it may affect your purchasing decision.
