ABS that acts like PBT
I’m a big fan of GMK but not a fan of resale and group buys on top of already steep pricing. I wanted ABS, though, and I heard good things about Drop’s DCX profile, so I decided to give it a go. I am definitely not disappointed! The quality is great, the legends are crisp, and I’m happy to say that after months of constant use, there’s virtually no shine. My only critique (and this is purely my own opinion) is that the thickness gives a sound that reminds me of PBT, rather than that glassy GMK ABS. All in all, I’m super satisfied and will likely order more DCX whenever I plan a new build!
