I've been on the lookout for a great keyboard that's budget friendly and when I came across this matcha green keyboard... I knew I couldn't pass up on it. The design is very minimalistic and the touch of green to it adds a very simple beauty. The overall quality seems really good, tactile sounds are great, no assembly needed, and price point is amazing! If you're debating on getting this, I'd definitely recommend. 10/10. :)
I bought this keyboard as a gift for my GF, who was obsessed with the color and design of the keyboard. I completely agree, it is a gorgeous board, especially when paired with a green/plant aesthetic. As for the board itself, the white led shine through clearly for the legends even in the dark. The holy pandas in the board are definitely extremely tactile, so that is something you should make sure you like before buying this board. A little disappointing the board is not hotswap, however considering the switches in there are good enough this is a great board to buy and not mess with.
The keyboard itself is fantastic and it is a very sturdy build quality. The designs are super cute and the color is exactly like it shows in the photos, my only gripe is the sound of the keys. It has the signature clack I was hoping for, and I don't know if it's user error or not, but there is a metallic ringing noise that follows every clack as the keys hit the actual casing. It's not bothersome in the slightest and the keyboard performs fantastically, it's just something I felt the need to note as every review I had initially found sound testing this keyboard didn't seem to highlight that because it is a metallic case, it has a very metallic typing sound.
I've always wanted a good quality mechanical key, and at last decided to watch some youtube vids to get some infos, listened to hipyo tech and got here! So happy with it!
I ablsolutely adore the color, perfect for a Matcha fan such as myself! I’ve been looking at this one for some time now, and I decided to pick it up as my first (proper) mechanical keyboard recently. as other people have stated, this definitely seems like an effective mech key gateway drug. The soldered Holy Panda X switches are very nice, I juuuust wish they were hot-swappable so I could periodically switch them out for a different feel. But overall, it’s very solidly built! Now I just have to find matching keycaps with Windows and Mac key labels so it’s easier to use with my silly fruit computer as well (insert distorted Mac startup chime here)
Love the look, its sleek and beautiful. Only issue is my spacebar came out of the box broken. Right part doesn't work, super sad and expected a little more. Overall great.
