There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. where are you heading on 7/28?
I'm joining my son and some other Boy Scouts on a trek to Isle Royale. We're all looking forward to a week on the island!
I wouldn't call the island flat. There aren't long, sustained hills like we have here in Colorado, but you'll definitely gain some elevation; Superior sits at 600' asl and the highest point on the island is 1394'.
This sheet gives a decent, subjective opinion of some of the trails: https://www.isleroyale.com/sg_userfiles/IR-Trail-Routes-2011.pdf Just notice that it's on the website of the ferry that operates to the Rock Harbor end, so it only covers loops from that end - good business sense!
