How does this compare to other trekking poles, like the entry level Black Diamond ones? (i.e. Black Diamond Trail Ergo Cork poles) for about $75. I can see right off the bat that these Fizan ones are much lighter (half the weight) of the Black Diamond ones, but since I don't do any serious hikes (backpacking for days), the weight isn't a big deal for me. Can anyone chime in on what I should be looking at? Are these worth it?
Just as background, I'm not very knowledgeable about hiking poles, as I don't really go on very tough hikes frequently. Toughest I've done being Half Dome. I bought some cheapo trekking poles from Amazon for about $25 which were okay for that hike, but I quickly realized they wouldn't last me very much longer, so I wanted to buy some that will last me a good few years of casual use.
