The GMK Mecha-01 is the set that brought me to the hobby, I had to resort to the fakes because I missed R1 so thanks a lot for the R2. I've been waiting a long time for 00 but the real question is: GIVE US 02! 😍😍😍

unit 00 is yellow in every single evangelion universe apart from *some* episodes of the anime series. relegating yellow alphas (without numpad and alice support) to a child kit is such a bad design choice.
also are mod icons going to be that unusually thin or is it just a bad render?

I would very unironically prefer Mecha-00 to be in the shade of blue of your Unit-00, looks a lot more like the actual anime color than the indigo chosen for this set

how you paint your models or what you feel is "out of place" is quite irrelevant to the canon. fact is blue 00 only appears in a fraction of the anime series and never came back. what is considered prototype in the anime is canon in every other evangelion loop. ever heard of Rebuild? Anima? just about every Eva videogame? the evangelion universe is much, much broader than the original series. I'd have less of an issue with blue if they at least picked the correct shade, 00 was never Pepsi can blue. this design is wrong on any imaginable level and anyone willing to look up any Eva wiki could get that. edit: well, not "wrong" per se, just forcing people to pay for two kits to have one decently accurate 00 set. the intentional lack of a second "tab" key is a dead giveaway
