Hi everyone, we have an update for you today regarding color matching and production schedule.
For context, this set, along with GMK Mecha-01 before it, has been designed in conjunction with FU11.META1. Color targets and design elements were agreed upon, and color sampling/matching has begun.
In the time since the color matching process started, despite ample time and attempts, we have been unable to make contact with FU11.META1. It is our desire to consult with FU11.META1 for final color approval, but at this point we need to make the final determination and color approval in order to not hold up production any further.
What this means is that our (Drop’s) team of internal keycap designers will review the spectrophotometric results of the blue production samples in particular, measured by GMK and compared against the previously-agreed targets to make the determination to move ahead with the full production run. Color matching is still being conducted with usual levels of diligence, use of proper color-measurement equipment, etc. The yellow color for this set has been approved by FU11.META1 prior to going silent.
Rest assured that we will be approaching this approval process with the utmost levels of thoughtfulness to the design inspiration and carrying the designer’s vision through to reality. To clarify, nothing is ready for shipping at this point. The colors were approved by the designer, but GMK produces the sets in a batch and ships it all out together. So until the whole shipment arrives, nothing will be ready to ship.

Love this set, especially the yellow Prototype Alphas! ...ordered!
My wishes (if it matters):
1: That there were more 1.25 novelty keys and a unique 1.25 for the fn key, please (so that the 3 pair of 1.25 keys had cool novelties). 2: Matching cool SHIFT key (2.25 & 2.75) novelties. 3: Is there going to be an artisan key collab?

Love the vibe of the yellow alphas. Not a fan of the blue. Consider swapping the two and making the set yellow by default with the option to buy the blue alphas? There are so many blue sets that are close to this color that people could swap in if the want.

The GMK Mecha-01 is the set that brought me to the hobby, I had to resort to the fakes because I missed R1 so thanks a lot for the R2. I've been waiting a long time for 00 but the real question is: GIVE US 02! 😍😍😍
