I bought these expecting a switch with a above average feel and sound, but nothing exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised though; these switches feel amazing and sound great. There is a nice thocky sound, but they are not overly loud, particularly on keys wider than 2u. The tactile bump is not sharp, but when typing normally there is no mistaking when it is actuated.
Didn't want to bother with lubing switches myself so I got these to put in my CSTM65 and I must say I'm not disappointed. Great sound and feel for typing as well as gaming.
A really nice feeling tactile switch. These are a bit more on the expensive side and the switches being pre-lubed probably doesn't justify the price gap when I bought them (the non-lubed were on sale for $19).
I would defiantly consider these switches again (because I'm lazy); however, to a budget focused purchaser, I would recommended the non-lubed version over this (hence why 4/5 instead of 5/5).
Got both the clear and black on discount with KBC and while the black were OK the clear are awesome. Multiple folks commented on how smooth they are and got them rethinking tactile afterall, ha
This is my favourite switch, and now they are available pre-lubricated, which is great!
The lubrication quality feels just right, and I'm very satisfied with that.
However, out of the two packs of 35 switches I purchased, 3 switches turned out to be faulty. One of the faulty switches caused my drop alt v2 keyboard LEDs to flash and not accept keystrokes until I identified the problematic switch. (I reported the issue to Drop, but unfortunately, it occurred after the warranty period had expired. This situation was a bit unfortunate since I had ordered three items, including one that was a pre-order and experienced delays, so I only used all three items once the last one arrived. Drop was kind enough to offer a $10 voucher, but I'm still three switches short.)
Great switches. The clear housing lets the RGB lighting through really well. I would buy again.
